The United Nations Development Program in Ashgabat announces the launch of the #HerLand #HerRights poster contest on the occasion of World Day to Combat Desertification.
The aim of the contest is to attract public attention to the problems of desertification, depletion of fertility and soil degradation. In order to participate in the contest, it is necessary to prepare a poster or other printed materials depicting forests as an important part of the ecosystem. Contestants can also demonstrate in their work women's efforts to combat drought and restore soil.
Contest entries should be submitted to the address of the UN Office in Ashgabat by July 10 or sent to the e-mail address: undptm@gmail.com. The winners will be selected and named on August 12 this year on Youth Day.
