Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan met with the OSCE President

A delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan met with OSCE President Pia Kauma on the margins of the 31st Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on Sunday, June 30. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal. 

During the bilateral meeting, the interlocutors noted the importance of a long-lasting effective partnership between Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation. The sides discussed the tasks and objectives of the Organization's further activities in the economic, humanitarian and political spheres. The important role of the implemented programs and projects was emphasized.

The subject of the meeting was also the discussion of topical issues related to the organization and conduct of joint events with the OSCE in Turkmenistan.
