Turkmenistan participated in the 31st Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the 31st Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, as well as in the Inter-Parliamentary Conference held within the framework of the Assembly in Bucharest. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal. 

The OSCE PA was attended by representatives of participating States of the Organization for Security and Co-operation, parliamentarians and members of international organizations. In a speech at the Assembly session on June 29, representatives of Turkmenistan emphasized the country's focus on peaceful diplomacy, economic partnership, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and ensuring environmental security. During the session, Turkmenistan's role in addressing topical issues within the OSCE was emphasized.

The Inter-Parliamentary Conference, which took place on June 30, focused on the need to ensure human rights and freedoms and to take action to combat the effects of global climate change.
