Turkmenistan and Korea held the second consultative meeting

On October 14, the second Turkmen-Korean consultative meeting was held within the framework of the second meeting of the heads of parliaments of CA and Korea. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The sides noted the importance of strengthening parliamentary ties in the context of interstate cooperation. The sides emphasized the special importance of participation of the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan in the first meeting of the speakers of the parliaments of Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea last year.

Attention was paid to the development of cooperation in such spheres as sports, education, science, tourism, combating the effects of climate change, transportation, energy, high technology, health care, nature protection.

The Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan met with the Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan E. Koshanov. Koshanov, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan M. Zokirzoda, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan N. Ismoilov, as well as bilateral meetings of inter-parliamentary friendship groups.
