The Asian Development Bank's country office announced the launch of a new partnership strategy with Turkmenistan to assist in the development of the national economy. This is reported by the online edition "AsmanNews.
The new strategy covers a five-year period from 2024 to 2028 and covers three areas at once - transition to a sustainable green economy, enhancing economic competitiveness and promoting reform and constitutional development.
ADB's strategy aims to support green transformation, particularly energy efficiency and renewable energy, carbon emission reduction, and policy reforms. Supporting export-oriented businesses, developing Turkmen financial institutions, and facilitating Turkmenistan's accession to the WTO will be important areas of ADB's strategy.
