Turkmenistan participated in the 14th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States

The 14th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, with the participation of Turkmenistan's representative Recep Bazarov. This is reported on the website atavatan-turkmenistan.com.

During the meeting the exchange of views on topical issues of the activities of the Council of Elders and OTGs took place, the main directions of further joint work and coordination of actions of the participating countries of the Organization were considered. A number of joint decisions on cooperation were adopted.

The meeting was attended by the representative of Uzbekistan Sadykjan Turdiyev, the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the TNA Binali Yildirim, the representative of Azerbaijan Hasan Hasanov, the representative of Kazakhstan Ikram Adirbek, the representative of Kyrgyzstan Medetkhan Sherimkulov. A number of observers also participated in the meeting.

In addition, the meeting reviewed the implementation of recommendations adopted at last year's meeting of the Council of Elders of the LSG in Bishkek.
