Turkmenistan to expand production of import-substituting products

During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which was held in the online format, Deputy Prime Minister Nurmuhammet Amannepesov presented to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov a report on the proposals of the inter-sectoral commission to ensure the effectiveness of scientific research and development of national industry. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

The report addressed the issues of technology development for expanding the production of import-substituting products and development of the national industry. Summarizing the Deputy Prime Minister's report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the special importance of introducing modern technologies in the national economy, and gave relevant instructions to implement practical steps to expand the production of import-substituting products.
