According to the report of the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Dovletgeldi Amanmukhammedov, which he provided during an extended session of the Government of Turkmenistan, the volume of natural gas production in the first half of this year amounted to more than 40.2 billion cubic meters. During the designated period, 4.16 million tons of crude oil was produced, oil bitumen production increased by 13.2%, and fuel oil production increased by 31.7%. According to past statistics, 80.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced in 2023 and 80 billion cubic meters in 2022.
Thus, the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan maintains the set high rate of natural gas production and confidently increases the production of oil products.
