Turkmen medical specialists visited Bavaria to exchange experience with their German colleagues. During the visit, the doctors from Turkmenistan studied under the guidance of Prof. Fritz Spelsberg, chief physician of the department of general and visceral surgery. During the visit to Germany, Turkmen specialists familiarized themselves with innovative ways of diagnostics, surgical treatment and rehabilitation of oncology patients. This experience will be especially valuable in view of the construction of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology in the capital of Turkmenistan, which will be equipped with innovative equipment for the treatment of oncological diseases.
This visit was part of Turkmenistan's strategy for the development of the national health care system.
