Turkmenistan received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Venezuela

On March 27, newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Turkmenistan (with residence in Baku) Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting focused on the main directions of Turkmen-Venezuelan cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership. Fruitful partnership within the framework of international organizations was noted - the countries often act as co-authors of international initiatives.

Energy, oil and gas, agriculture and green technologies were named as priority areas of trade and economic cooperation. The meeting also touched upon the issues of cultural interaction, including through the organization of exchange of cultural programs, implementation of educational projects, joint events in the field of culture, art and education.
