The 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan was held

The 12th meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh commission on economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the two states was held in Astana on May 15. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Atdayev and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan R. Sklyar.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in transportation, finance, agriculture, construction, culture, education, science and oil and gas.

In his speech, R. Sklyar noted the high dynamics of the partnership, in which regular working visits and meetings at the highest and highest levels played a major role. B. Atdayev in his response emphasized that the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the important business partners of Turkmenistan, as evidenced by the growth of trade between the countries in the first 4 months of this year.

The Protocol was signed as a result of the bilateral meeting.
