Premier of the State Council of China and President of Turkmenistan meet

During the official visit of Serdar Berdymukhamedov to the PRC on December 5-6, he had a conversation with Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Keqiang. This was reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper.

The central topic of the meeting was the prospects of the Turkmen-Chinese bilateral partnership in the context of current opportunities. It was noted that representatives of Chinese business are very interested in the market of Turkmenistan, where there are favorable conditions for investment.

The parties stressed that effective bilateral cooperation between the countries is successfully supplemented by interaction within the framework of the "Central Asia-China" format, the UN and other international and regional organizations.

Li Keqiang noted that China has great respect for Turkmenistan's neutrality status, which is an important factor in ensuring peace and stability in the Central Asian region.
