Turkmenistan develops media cooperation with Turkish media holding TRT

On Monday, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov met with Mehmed Chalyshkan, director of the representative office of Turkish TV and radio company TRT in Kazakhstan, to discuss the establishment of partnership relations by creating joint programs and newscasts. At the meeting, held at the TRT office in Astana, they discussed cooperation in preparing programs, news reports, reviews and analytical materials on the main transformations taking place in Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan said.

Ambassador Rejepov informed Director Chalyshkan about preparations for the upcoming key anniversary dates in Turkmenistan: 32nd anniversary of independence - September 27, 28th anniversary of neutrality - December 12, 300th anniversary of the birth of the famous Turkmen writer Makhtumkuli - August 23.

Rejepov emphasized the importance of covering the latest economic, social and political developments in Turkmenistan through the influential TRT television network. He noted that the significant events of this year provide an opportunity to demonstrate the country's progress.

The two sides agreed to maintain working contacts and cooperate on anniversary events. This potential partnership will expand Turkmenistan's outreach and public diplomacy through cooperation with one of Turkey's most popular TV and radio stations, TRT.
