On Wednesday, November 6, Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, Chairman of the Turkmen-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation from the Turkish side Cevdet Yilmaz. The Vice President arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the 7th meeting of the Commission. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In his welcoming remarks, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the Republic of Turkey is one of the strategic trade and economic partners of the country. He emphasized the wide opportunities for cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, transportation and communications, agriculture and investments.
Special attention was paid to the work of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation and the work of the Business Council aimed at strengthening and developing effective cooperation in a wide range of areas.
