President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok met on January 8. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkish diplomat presented Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with credentials and conveyed words of greetings from President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The sides noted the long-term and strategic nature of interstate cooperation, with special emphasis on international policy, ensuring peace and security, and achieving sustainable development goals.
The Turkmen side expressed hope for strengthening the Turkmen-Turkish interaction in political and diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
