President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree, according to which the State Concern Türkmenpagta and khakimliki of velayats should produce 2100 tons of silkworm cocoons in 2024. This is reported by the online publication Vestiabad.ru
The Decree provides for the signing of a general agreement between the State Concern Türkmenpagta and the khakimliks of the velayats and for the State Concern to provide the velayat daihan associations, agricultural enterprises, daihan farms, tenants and landowners with the necessary volume of high-quality mulberry silkworm grens.
The document signed by the President of Turkmenistan will contribute to the development of silkworm industry of the country and increase the production of silkworm cocoons.
