As a result of successful implementation of comprehensive measures, a stable GDP growth rate was ensured in January, which amounted to 6.3%. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Khojamurat Geldimiradov during the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the online edition reports "Turkmenportal".
According to the Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister, the volume of manufactured products increased by 8.2% in comparison with the same period of 2023, and retail turnover increased by 10.6%.
The report also indicated that the revenue side of the State Budget was executed at 104.8% and the expenditure side at 97.1%. The size of wages of large and medium enterprises of the country is higher by 10%, and capital investments - by 24.6%.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of relevant work for successful implementation of the tasks defined for 2024 in the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the country for 2022-2028.
The head of Turkmenistan also addressed a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister related to maintaining the dynamics of GDP growth and coherent development of industries.
