The President of Turkmenistan reviewed the progress of seasonal works in the agricultural sector

On July 8, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting to review the progress of work in the agro-industrial complex and seasonal campaigns in the regions of the country, TDH reports.

During the meeting, the khakims of Akhal velayat R. Khojamgulyev, Balkan velayat H. Ashirmiradov, Dashoguz velayat S. Soltanmiradov, Lebap velayat S. Amangeldiev, Mary velayat B. It was also reported on the ongoing agro-technical activities in cotton fields, ongoing harvesting of potatoes and other vegetables and vegetables with subsequent delivery to domestic markets, preparation for fall planting of these crops.

Heads of administrations of the country's regions also informed about the state of affairs on new buildings, in particular, on the objects of social and production infrastructure according to the Program of social and economic development of the country in 2022-2028, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

During the meeting the khakims of Balkan velayat H. Ashirmiradov and Dashoguz velayat S. Soltanmiradov reported good news about successful fulfillment of contractual obligations on grain delivery by the farmers.

The leaders of the Balkan and Dashoguz provinces noted that the labor achievement of the farmers of the regions became possible due to the optimal conditions for fruitful work provided to the farmers by the state. On behalf of the residents of the velayats, the khakims expressed gratitude to the President of the country and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, for his unwavering attention to the development of agriculture.

Heartily congratulating the valiant farmers of Balkan and Dashoguz provinces on their labor achievements, the head of state wished them new labor successes, expressing confidence that they will achieve remarkable successes in growing rich harvests of other crops.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev said that thanks to the support of the state, the country's farmers have handed over more than 1 million 200 thousand tons of grain to the homeland. At the same time, wheat harvesting continues in the country and timely payments are made to the producers for the delivered grain.

Rice areas in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are being tended, and in Mary velayat - sugar beet planting with subsequent vegetative irrigation.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedo ordered to keep under control the completion of grain harvesting in full, as well as compliance with the requirements of agricultural techniques when working on the country's agricultural lands.
