At an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov defined the tasks facing the country's fuel and energy complex. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today."
The head of state noted that the fuel and energy complex, as one of the dynamically developing sectors of the national economy, needs further introduction of modern environmentally friendly technologies in order to increase production volumes.
The President gave instructions to intensify work with foreign companies to search for new deposits in the Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea and to continue the work of Turkmen geologists to develop new hydrocarbon fields.
Electricity, gas and oil enterprises successfully operate in the structure of the country's fuel and energy complex. The President of Turkmenistan noted that the development of environmentally friendly energy is one of the most important directions of the FEC transformation.
