Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan held political consultations

On October 9, Turkmen-Kazakh inter-ministerial political consultations were held. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

On the Turkmen side, the delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov, and on the Kazakh side by Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan E. Konuspaev. Konuspayev. The parties noted the effectiveness of the "CA+" format and interaction within the framework of international organizations, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation. The need to intensify inter-midwife cooperation was emphasized.

The interlocutors noted the broad prospects of trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the work of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakhstan Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation is of particular significance. Fuel and energy, transportation and logistics and industrial sectors were named key areas of partnership. The issues of expanding cultural and humanitarian ties were also discussed during the consultations.
