Turkmenistan participates in conference on AI in customs

Specialists of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the second international scientific-practical conference "Artificial Intelligence in Customs", which was held on September 2-3, 2024 in Baet village of Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was organized by the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan together with international development partners, including GIZ. The conference participants shared their experience of introducing artificial intelligence in customs activities and prepared proposals for the wide introduction of AI in the customs sphere.

The conference discussed digitalization and implementation of innovative solutions in modern global supply chains. The participants paid special attention to the importance of speed, security and reliability of data in customs processes.

The conference became a platform for the exchange of best practices between customs services of different countries in the field of application of modern artificial intelligence technologies to improve the efficiency of customs control.
