Canadian Ambassador to Turkmenistan presents copies of credentials to M. Byashimova

Today, October 10, the ceremony of presenting credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) Alan Hamson to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova took place. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to support his diplomatic mission. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for further expansion of Turkmen-Canadian cooperation in various areas, including trade and economic sphere, fuel and energy, green energy, education, as well as within the framework of international organizations.

As a result of the talks, the sides agreed to hold inter-ministerial consultations next year and noted the need to expand the legal framework.
