On May 28, Head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission to the State of Qatar M. Seyitmammedov took part in a meeting with Head of the Qatar Advisory Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim on further development of partnership. This is reported on the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
Trade, economic, investment, tourism, transportation and communication spheres were named as promising areas of bilateral relations. Attention was paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
In addition, the sides reviewed the interaction between the parliamentarians of the two countries within the framework of authoritative international structures. Emphasis was placed on the existence of a high potential for inter-parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, the effectiveness of the work of the Turkmen-Katar inter-parliamentary friendship group was noted. The parties agreed to expand cooperation between the parliaments of the two states.
