At a weekly government meeting on Friday, October 30, Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov said that the Ministry of Finance and Economy has prepared a document regulating the procedure for transferring state property into trust management.
This measure should become an alternative to privatization. Trustees will be determined on the basis of the results of the tender. It is planned to make full use of the potential and resources of management companies involved in the management of state assets.
The trust management of state property does not give the manager the right of ownership of the property he manages. The involvement of outside specialists is designed to increase the efficiency of state property through more qualified management.
The exact date of entry into force of this rule is currently uncertain.
