The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with a delegation from the University of Kent

On June 18, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held talks with representatives of Kent State University (USA). The delegation of the American university was headed by Vice President Marcello Fantonini.

The main topic of discussion was the implementation of joint educational programs within the framework of the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding. The parties also considered the preparation of curricula in accordance with international standards.

Kent State University, established in 1910, is among the largest public institutions in the United States. The university specializes in innovative programs in education, business and technology.

Three memorandums of understanding were signed as part of the cooperation between the American university and Turkmen universities. The documents cover the International University of Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.

The agreements are aimed at expanding academic programs, developing joint educational and scientific projects, and strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.

During the visit, the American guests visited the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy, the UNESCO Club "Culture of Peace", the Turkmen White House, the educational studio of the Institute, German and Turkish libraries.

The meeting promotes the partnership between the Turkmen Diplomatic School and the University of Kent, supporting Turkmenistan's strategic goals of integration into the international educational space.
