Konstantin Sabiashvili met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Konstantin Sabiashvili and Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Thursday, March 16, 2023. During the talks, the sides touched upon topical issues and prospects for further cooperation between the states. The important role of the official conversation between the Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Irakli Garibashvili - Prime Minister of Georgia, which took place in July last year, was emphasized.

The diplomats touched upon the strengthening of partnership Turkmen-Georgian interaction in science and education, cultural and humanitarian spheres, transportation logistics, tourism and energy.

The high importance of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission in strengthening the economic bilateral partnership was recognized.
