The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, presented to the President of Turkmenistan a report on the 15th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees on Economic Cooperation at a government meeting on December 21, 2024. The Foreign Minister noted that during the meeting with the Japanese delegation, the sides discussed topical issues of cooperation in the oil and gas industry, green energy, transportation and chemical industry. Turkmenistan initiated a number of proposals that were supported by the Japanese side.
R. Meredov also presented data on the results of the official visit of the President of the country to Malaysia, where 14 documents on the development of effective partnership were signed.
