Observer Mission Confirms Readiness of Turkmenistan's Dashoguz Province for Elections

A high level of readiness for the election of deputies to the Majlis was noted following the working visit of CIS International Observers to election commissions in Dashoguz province. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

An objective long-term inspection of the preparations for the elections showed good professional competence of the members of the election commissions of the velayat, excellent equipment of the polling stations with all necessary methodical materials and equipment.

Observers had discussions with members of election commissions, learned about the organization of early and primary voting.

The formation of the CIS Observer Mission is currently underway. To date, 40 observers from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have registered their applications for accreditation.
