Following the talks of the President of Turkmenistan in Qatar, a package of documents was signed

A package of agreements was signed between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani at the highest level talks held in Doha on March 20, 2023. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

An important outcome of the meeting was the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of the states regarding the prevention and elimination of emergency situations. The parties also succeeded in signing Memorandums of Understanding in the field of prosecution, youth policy and social protection.

The Cooperation Program for 2023-2024 in the field of sports was signed in a solemn ceremony.

In the economic sphere, the parties reached an intergovernmental Agreement on the Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments.
