Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Executive Director of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov December 10 received Ms. Natalia Herman, Executive Director of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate, TDH reported.
The representative of the largest international organization congratulated the head of state on the approaching holiday - International Neutrality Day and wished happiness to all Turkmenistanis. Natalia German also expressed gratitude for the award - a medal on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
The guest conveyed warm words of greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, noting that the concept and principles of neutrality successfully promoted under the leadership of Hero Arkadag have proved to be a fundamental element of both domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan, a state that today plays an important role in ensuring stability, security and prosperity of the Central Asian region.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed his best wishes to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, expressing confidence that Natalia German's visit would become an important factor in strengthening Turkmenistan's cooperation with the United Nations.
During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of developing a multifaceted partnership with the UN, which is one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, advocating the development of a multipolar system of global governance and promoting the implementation of the principles and goals of the Charter of the Organization.
Turkmenistan's foreign policy course is focused on promoting dialogue and cooperation for stability and progress at the regional and international levels, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, emphasizing the special importance attached to the development of ties with the Executive Directorate of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee.
According to the source, the head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan will continue to support initiatives aimed at increasing cooperation, exchange of information and experience in the field of counter-terrorism, as well as strengthening legal and institutional mechanisms to protect peace and stability.
