Turkmenistan's Deputy Education Minister Azat Ataev, who is on a working visit to China, visited the Huawei exhibition in Shanghai. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.
Later, Mr. Ataev held a meeting with Mr. Sung Gang, Director of Huawei's ICT Partner Talent Development Department. The parties discussed the issues of digital transformation of the education system and capacity building of ICT cadres.
The possibility of creating digital infrastructure in educational institutions was considered. The parties also considered the creation of innovation and research centers and the development of an internship and professional development program.
Huawei representatives proposed to introduce 5G, IoT and cloud computing technologies in universities of Turkmenistan, use cloud technologies and AI to personalize learning. It was decided to organize annual training for Turkmen teachers who will teach students on innovative technologies.
