Turkmenistan participated in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries and China

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev took part in the meeting of Foreign Ministers in the format "Central Asia - China" held in the Chinese city of Xi'an on April 27 this year. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of further partnership between the five countries of the Central Asian region and China in various spheres. The sides exchanged views on the upcoming summit of the Central Asia-China format. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that the proximity of fundamental approaches to addressing the main issues of the regional and global agenda allows to develop common tools for further cooperation in this format.

The result of the meeting was the signing of the Information Communiqué of the forthcoming fourth meeting of the five Central Asian countries - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China.
