The national holiday of the Turkmen horse in Turkmenistan was marked by large-scale celebrations at the equestrian complex near Ashgabat. The program of the event included performances by riders, colorful displays of handicraft products, and arts and crafts items.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov together with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan R. Minnikhanov attended the celebrations and the main event of the day - the prestigious horse races. Many thoroughbred Turkmen horses participated in seven races, showing their best qualities - endurance and speed. At the end of the races, there was a solemn ceremony of honoring the winners. The valuable awards from the economic blocs of the country and the Presidential Cup were presented. Also on behalf of the head of state prizes and commemorative awards were given to the best in marathon running and show jumping.
