Turkmenistan and China develop strategic partnership

Today, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov received a delegation of China headed by member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Ma Xingzhui. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed promising areas of bilateral strategic cooperation and achievement of agreements reached following the talks between the Presidents of the countries and the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the People's Republic of China to participate in the forum "One Belt, One Road".

The dynamics of development of strategic partnership in various areas, including trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and political-diplomatic spheres, was emphasized. Special attention was paid to the intensification of interaction between the youth of the two countries. In this regard, it was noted that the Turkmen city of Mary is currently hosting the forum of the youth of the Central Asian countries and the People's Republic of China "New Era of the Great Silk Road".
