Turkmenistan and Malaysia discuss cooperation in the media sphere

On January 24, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Malaysia M. Mashalov met with the Chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Bin Fateh Din. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in the media sphere. In this regard, the Turkmen diplomat spoke about the planned events in Turkmenistan and abroad on the occasion of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the famous Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi.

The Chairman of the Malaysian Liaison and Multimedia Commission, in turn, noted that cooperation in the media sphere will contribute to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.
