Turkmenistan has provided a 24-hour humanitarian corridor for foreign citizens arriving from Iran. Hundreds of people have already passed through the country's checkpoints.
Among those who crossed the border are citizens of India, China, Pakistan and other states. The Turkmen authorities ensure their transit and assist them in returning home.
Work on the organization of the humanitarian corridor is being carried out in close cooperation with the diplomatic missions of foreign States accredited in Ashgabat.
The authorities of Turkmenistan continue to coordinate efforts to ensure the safe passage of third-country nationals through the territory of the republic.
