Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine Hossein Ali Mostafa Ghannam on June 3 in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.
The central topic of the talks was the discussion of the state of Turkmen-Palestinian relations in three key areas: political and diplomatic, trade and economic, and cultural and humanitarian. The sides positively assessed the development of cooperation between the two states.
The diplomats stressed the effectiveness of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Palestine not only at the bilateral level, but also at the platforms of international organizations. Such multi-format partnership contributes to strengthening the positions of both countries in the global community.
Rashid Meredov highly appreciated the work of the Palestinian diplomat, noting his significant personal contribution to the development of interstate ties. The Minister wished the Ambassador further professional success.
Hossein Ghannam, in turn, thanked the Turkmen side for all-round support and creation of favorable conditions for the fulfillment of diplomatic tasks during his work in Ashgabat.
