Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held talks with Togan Oral, Head of the General Directorate for Central Asia and Organization of Turkic States of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The meeting was held on June 5, 2025.
In the course of the talks, the diplomats reviewed the current directions of the Turkmen-Turkish partnership. They paid special attention to analyzing the existing level of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The participants of the meeting elaborated in detail on the development of trade and economic ties. The prospects of deepening cultural and humanitarian interaction between the two countries were discussed separately.
The sides also touched upon the possibilities of expanding multilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations. The diplomats exchanged views on the further development of bilateral relations and identified priority areas of joint work.
The meeting confirmed the mutual interest of Turkmenistan and Turkey in strengthening partnership relations in all areas of cooperation.
