Turkmenistan and Japan discussed topical issues of economic cooperation

On November 15, Wednesday, talks were held between R. Meredov and H. Tsubai - Co-Chairmen of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japan-Turkmen Economic Cooperation Committees. During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of the current agenda and prospective areas of development of further mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries. This is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Rashid Meredov emphasized the sustainable nature of long-term cooperation between Japan and Turkmenistan. One of the important goals of the talks was to discuss the implementation of the agreements reached during the 14th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee. This meeting was held in the Japanese capital at the end of 2022.

The sides emphasized the need to deepen cooperation in the spheres of energy and ecology, transportation and communications, oil refining industry.
