On November 11, the signing of the Agreement in the livestock sector, more specifically in the framework of the breeding of productive livestock of agricultural animals took place. The agreement was signed by a representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the Turkmen Commissioner.
The signed project aims to improve efficiency in cattle breeding not only in Turkmenistan, but also in all Central Asian countries.
In the implementation of the program, farmers will be regularly trained in best practices. National and international experts will share their wealth of experience directly on the fields and farms.
The FAO sub-regional coordinator assured the leadership of Turkmenistan that they will provide as much assistance as they can to help the country thrive in the priority sectors of agriculture: fisheries, animal health, expansion and improvement of pastures, land use, and more.
